Play workers urgently needed for a local Charity running a Summer Holiday play scheme for Children with severe learning difficulties and other disabilities from Monday 29th July to Friday 9th August 2024  at Granta School, Linton.

Cambridge Joint Playschemes (CJP) is a small local Charity based in Little Shelford, making a big difference for Children with severe learning difficulties and other disabilities in Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire.

​

We organize holiday clubs and other activities for the Children and young people (8 – 19), allowing them to enjoy fun and constructive activities while giving much needed respite to their parents. Demand for our services is exploding but our ability to provide places on our schemes is severely restricted by a shortage of play workers. We urgently need to find more.

​

Play workers are paid positions and all applicants are subject to DBS checks. This is an ideal job for young people (16+) and LSA’s who wish to earn some money over the summer while experiencing working with Young People with learning difficulties. Appropriate training and supervision is provided.
